Moral Tales Press
This website was created by Linda to raise awareness of animal abuse through the use of children's books.

In media-reported animal cruelty cases, dogs—and pit bulls, in particular—are the most common victims of animal cruelty. Of 1,880 cruelty cases* reported in the media in 2007:

•64.5% (1,212) involved dogs
•18% (337) involved cats
•25% (470) involved other animals
•Reported abuse against pit bulls appears to be on the rise: in 2000–2001, pit bulls were involved in 13% of reported dog-abuse cases; in 2007, they were involved in 25% of reported dog-abuse cases.
*some cases involved multiple species

Our Mission is to help stop animal cruelty
Linda M. Moser is a retired elementary school teacher who has always loved animals, especially dogs, and is very concerned about the needless sufering many of these innocent creatures endure.  Linda belongs to and supports many animal welfare and rescue organizations. But she wanted to share her love and concern for animals with a greater audience and also create an awareness. Linda has written two children's books because she believes that if children are educated about animal abuse and neglect early in life, they can help stop the suffering. She feels that because children are usually deeply empathetic, they can make a difference when they become aware of problems.
Please join us in helping stop animal cruelty.  For every book or activity book purchased, a portion of the proceeds will go to an animal rescue organization.  We thank you for supporting Linda's love of animals.
